Purchased the 7100 to replace my 706m2g.Blows the 706 away. Thinking of buying a second one to put in my bedroom. In fact, I enjoy operating more than my 7300. I have a IC 7300 which I love but decided to buy a IC7100 which has D-Star and VHF and UHF. Taking a long ,multi state offroading trip and the radio is done!
